Well
we have now moved house, which means the railway is in pieces and has to be put
back together. The good news is that I can have a dedicated room, so it will
not have to be folded away against the wall, that should help the ballast to
stay on the track at least. It is also slightly larger that the room I had it in
before so I might be able to incorporate extra track for the trains not
currently running.

Updated views of the model
The picture is an overview of this 6 x 4 layout with some of the trains visible.
The turntable now is in a yard with at least a partial wall around it. A road runs down between this yard and the brewery, which is access for the brewery lorries and to the goods yard.
